2 mins. walk from OSAKA metro DONUTSUEN-MAE station exit 2 with up escalator, 4 mins. walk from exit 5 with escalators and elevator. a short flight of stairs to JR SHIN-IMAMIYA station entrance but with elevators to platforms it is not a problem for me carrying two luggage. more and more hotels in this neighborhood with lots tourists therefore less worry about security for travel alone as i heard from others. nice staff, luckily i got early check-in in the morning around 10:30 a.m. elevator to rooms. two shower rooms open 24h on the 1st floor and restroom every floor are very clean even the lights might make them seem not. one microwave in front of the elevator on my floor, not sure others. not used the sauna this time. magically the simple wood door make well soundproof that not a sound from the rooms when the tv open with the setting volume even you might hear people at the corridor from the room which is not a problem for me personally. tv, refrigerator, desk, air conditioner and dimmable light in the room. even small room got enough space for open two baggage at the same time.

Great location. Within 100m walk from shin immamiya station. Walking distance to tennoji station that surrounded with mall and restaurants. Great in house onsen with schedule time for man and woman. 24 hours 4 shower room on ground floor and toilet sharing for every floor. Towel and shampoo are provided. Coin laundry and dryer facilities. Reasonable spacious amenities with small kitchen for simple cooking and microwave and toaster also provided. There is morning free coffee and 24 hours hot water with tea. I stayed in single room with fridge, small tv,table and chair and air con for cold and hot features. Building with lift. Most of staffs are friendly and speak English.

I always stay in Nishinari-ku when I am in Osaka because it is cheap and you can reach other places easily. I usually walk around Osaka from there but there are also train stations for JR and metro very close. You get a small single room - which is fine for staying a few nights. Supermarkets are within 5 to 10min walking distance (super tamade and don quijote for example). In general it absolutely depends on your way of travelling and if you like hotels like this one. The room is small but it did have a table and chair, so I was positively surprised. I would stay there again.

Although all rooms are non-smoking, I was given a room that was clearly smelly with smoke (probably was due to the room was located right above the smoking area on the ground floor and the window might have been opened when no one was in the room...). I tried to requested for a change without really hoping for positive response, but to my surprise, although all western style rooms (room type I booked) in the main building were fully occupied on that night, the staff at reception was very helpful and quickly offered an upgraded substitute room without requesting additional cost.

The hotel is a bit run down, yet it has a lot to offer. It has a spa area with sauna and a hot tub and I had a single room with fridge, air conditioning, table and chair. There is a well-equipped kitchen downstairs for common use, free coffee and tea in the morning and filtered water all day. They give you a towel. The bed itself was quite comfortable. Good pillow. The hotel also has an elevator and you can borrow a bike for free. JR station is very close by and there are a few things to do in the neighborhood.
